Concrete & Driveways in Los Angeles

Concrete is forever — including bad concrete. We pour driveways, patios, walkways, and structural slabs with the grading, base compaction, and reinforcement that decide whether it cracks in two years or lasts forty.

How We Handle Concrete & Driveways

Every pour starts below the surface: demo and haul-off of the old slab, compacted base, correct drainage slope, and rebar or mesh reinforcement. Finishes range from broom and smooth trowel to stamped, exposed aggregate, and pavers when the design calls for them.

Driveway approaches, curb cuts, and anything in the public right-of-way carry their own permits in most cities — paperwork we handle as a matter of course. ADU driveways and required paving are folded into those projects seamlessly.

Concrete & Driveways FAQs

How much does a new concrete driveway cost?

In the LA area, standard broom-finish driveways run roughly $12–$18 per square foot including demo; stamped and decorative finishes $18–$30. Site access and grading are itemized transparently.

Why did my old driveway crack, and how do you prevent it?

Usually: no base compaction, no reinforcement, and missing control joints. We fix all three — plus proper curing — which is why our flatwork stays flat.

How long before I can drive on new concrete?

Foot traffic at 48 hours, vehicles at 7 days, full strength at 28. We schedule pours so the wait lands as painlessly as possible.
